About Kal Essence

Meet the Founders

KAL-Essence Training Group is owned and operated by Leighshel (Lilly) and Colin Cosmos.

Both local to the Pilbara, Lilly and Colin have strong community connections, and the cultural understanding to engage and communicate effectively with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people.

They established the business to capitalise on their skills and experience, and to positively impact their community whilst providing a legacy for their three daughters.

A modern approach

At Kal Essence Training, we believe learning should be relevant, engaging, and grounded in real-world experience. Our modern approach blends evidence-based methods with culturally informed perspectives, ensuring every session is both practical and deeply respectful of the communities we work with. We move beyond one-size-fits-all training by tailoring our programs to meet the unique needs of each group, using interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and digital tools to make learning dynamic and impactful. By creating safe, inclusive spaces, we empower participants to gain skills, share knowledge, and walk away with the confidence to create lasting change.
